What video card should I get for a budget gaming build?

Question by Jake: What video card should I get for a budget gaming build?
I have a budget gaming build put together, and I need a recommendation on what graphics card to get. I could spend up to maybe 80 dollars. I have the pci express x16 interface. I don’t plan on doing anything like super major on it, just games similar to Halo 2, Spore, etc. Thanks!

Check if your PSU is enough.

  1. JEDI says:

cheaper on newegg than tigerdirect, and they have the same exact one as the first answer. i am looking for a cheap video card too right now, i was looking at the Fermi’s with DDR3 and DirectX11. the one in the first answer had a slower clock but DDR5. both have 1GB. now i am torn between the two. i have a crap mobo and pcix16 1.0, gonna buy a 2.0 x16 card, not a 2.1 just to be safe. anyways, i can’t actually tell you what video card to choose bc i am confused about which one to get for myself in about the same price range, but i can tell you that Newegg.com usually has the better deals and i have never had trouble buying from them.
