I want a laptop thats reliable with 8 gbs of ram that would be able to handle games like minecraft and team fortress 2 with no lag or problem at all . But not a laptop fully dedicated to gaming. Price range from 600 – 900

    HP Pavilion dv6-6170us seems to be pretty good, specs:

    Intel Core i7-2630QM 2.00GHz, up to 2.90GHz with Turbo Boost
    6GB DDR3 of system memory
    750GB (5400RPM) hard Drive (SATA)
    AMD Radeon HD 6770M 1024MB GDDR5

    You shouldn’t worry about amount of memory, 4GB DDR3 stick can be had for $ 25.
